For Anyone Looking to Buy a Pantera, I received a letter in the mail describing a 1972 Pantera for sale by Fenders Hummer of BC located in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The letter states: To Whom It may Concern, Recently, we have taken in a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera on a partial trade for a Hummer. We would like to be able to find a decent home for this car and since it originated in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., importation should not be a problem. The overall condition of the car is very good with a strong motor and body. - Black on Black - All original with exception of rear wing - New head gaskets - Cooling System repair (hoses etc.) - Air - Strong 351 with lots of compression - doesn't burn any blue - Strong gearbox (no grinds or whines) - 56,000 miles - Last owner purchased 4 year ago in Atlanta - Saturday afternoon driver only - Good electricals (everything works) - $22,000 US If you require an additional information, please do not hesitate to call myself at (604) 984-8198. Best regards, Geremy Testar, Sales Manager They included a color xerox page containing six photos. My observations from the photos: - Interior looks very clean and totally stock except for aftermarket four spoke steering wheel - front luggage compartment looks very clean with stock brake & clutch master cylinders - engine compartment looks clean - engine has aftermarket intake, carb, value covers, air cleaner (can't tell much else) - the rear photo of the car shows what appears to be Hall mufflers, European tail lights (the ones with the lower amber lenses), lower a-arm chrome cover pieces, DeTomaso emblem under the rear of the tranny, and P-7's on stock 7's and 8's That's about all I can tell. They do have a web page: http://www.fenders.com ==============================================================================
