Hi Don,





  If you are going to be at Hearst Castle I would suggest going south a 

bit more and checking out Morro Bay, Montane De Oro, Pismo Beach.  There 

are plenty of nice drives, eats, sleeps in any area mentioned.  The 

crowds are usually very small in this entire area as well.  This is one 

of my favorite areas and I highly recommend it.  Let me know if you want 

some specific stops etc...
