$10 000 would buy a very rough daily driver and $20-30 000 DM would buy a nice example. They can be bargains in GB sometimes but then in lousy condition. They are not that common in Europe either. Remember that they have made only 375 to 800 of them. Exact figures are hard to get. We have a great network around Europe so one can check out the market pretty quick on available cars. Mike -I_don't_like_attached_pictures_in_my_e-mail_that_I_can't_read_on_my_silly_M ac- Drew is writing an excellent article on Longchamps. Most of the tech-stuff is in it. They are nice cars to ride (I've been told, I bought mine dismantled). The late GTS cars can be very quick. Most of the parts are priced like the Pantera. Some stuff quite expensive but they are few. Remember, this is an exotic. Almost everything is available from the factory. I think this is a great excuse for another trip to Europe NB There will be a DeTomaso reunion next summer at the border of France and Swiss. Put that in your calendar. Maybe it can be a little shopping trip? The Swedish DeTomaso Club Bjorn Carlsson, with -71 pushbutton and L GTS that will miss me when I'm in Monterey.
