Not true...... The fluid simply swaps side of pistion as it travels back and forth. I had this exact thing happen on my truck. As time goes by, you eventually start to see some leakage along/through the pedal input shaft. The uncontrollable engagement/disengagement of the clutch was just an early symptom. I'm sure there could be other reasons for the symptom, but I would not rule this out. My mechanic just about launch my truck off his alignment rack when it got really bad............ Obviously I waited just a little too long to fix it. DUH.... Let the clutch engage before you want it to?? Only this scenario would also be illustrated by fluid consumption in the clutch circuit?? > > Are you losing fluid too??? > > .02 > Steve > ...off to Mexico City on Monday....hope to be back for Monterey...... bye for now! > ==============================================================================
