I believe the Centerforce clutch that is currently being sold to 351C owners is a 10-1/2" unit originally made for the street version 5.0 Mustang, which is why it requires a different flywheel (or one that's drilled for the smaller-than-stock Centerforce pressure plate). Stock 351C was an 11" Long type pressure plate. Knowing Dave & Linda Adler's 'Whiplash' has a 400+ inch (slightly) detuned race engine, maybe a smaller clutch than stock, regardless of it's quality, might not have been a good idea.
