It is a special polish origionally made fibreglass and plastic. It is the BEST polish I have ever used for aluminum. It will return the ORIGIONAL luster to any polished aluminum and actually even polish smooth unpolished metal. Works better on brass than Brasso. If it is just bare origional, then sand blasting or wire brush is about the only way to clean it. I have lots of polished aluminum, I know the corrosion well.
