This evening I washed and waxed my P, planning to go for a little Friday evening cruise, then replaced the power window switches. They were working fine until someone on the 'net asked about them a month ago or so, someone answered that they nearly always fail eventually, and I smugly thought "Well, I still have original window switches and they work just fine". They did until that thought passed through my head, then one got flaky. So I ordered a pair of Bosch replacement switches from Hall, and now my windows work. But after changing my switches, now my headlights don't come on. I get parking lights, but the headlights don't come up, and they don't light up. I see no fluctuation on the ampmeter, so it isnt even trying. I only have 2 wires going to the back of my headlight switch, both a sort of pinkish color. Does this sound right? I also disconnected all the wires from the "courtesy" switch. Is there any tie-in between the two switches?
