Hello all, I have never heard of any higher geared 5th, but there is 3 different final ratios to the transaxle, i.e. Low, Normal and the so called Le Mans ratio. There is a GT5-84 in Sweden which changed owner recently, which has been said to have the Le Mans gearbox ratio. With power enough the car should do an additional 35 km (22mph) roughly. But of course, the final gear ratio hits all gears, i.e. high 1st, 2nd, and so on. Not so fun all the time.
