Frank, It sounds like they are either selling either: 1. An L model parts car using an early '72 VIN 2. A pre-L 71/72 with L bumpers 3. An early '72 converted to L spec by a previous owner Not sure what they have, but it's not a '73 with that VIN, and there weren't any factory L models made that early.
