All, I never had to remove my seat to get my bulkhead out. My Pre-L (July '72 car #3960) had stock seats whose seat backs could pivot, but they were held in a fixed position; you just have to un-do the bolts connecting the seat back with the base (one on each side as I recall, located at the bottom of the seat back), loosen the pivot bolts (on the sides of the seat) and then tilt the front forward. Probably easier to do on the passenger side since the steering wheel isn't in the way. FWIW, Mike ==============================================================================
