If this does pass and '73 is the new cutoff, those with '74 models, that are 

really late '73 models that were relabeled '74 can use this in any way to 

get your car relabeled back as a '73?



Thinking out loud here also, and I have no idea if anything can be done, but 

maybe someone will want to check it out.

That is indeed good news, tho I would have preferred that they simply

leave the cutoff at 25 years and bill those owners '65-cutoff for the

smog certificate they would have paid for anyway at registration time.



Since it passed 20-0, I wonder how it would have done if they'd worded

it as pay-for-the-certificate-anyway. (Just thinking out loud.)



Why? Well, see, my car is a '74, and I'm not relishing getting it through

smog three more times. Maybe I should invest in a smog motor...
