Hi Gang,



Great news for Connecticut residents.  There has been a rumor circulating at

the local cruise nights regarding a change in the auto emmissions laws.

 Tonight I was able to verify this rumor as true.  We now have a rolling 25

year window for emmission testing.  This means if you own a 71' or 72'

DeTomaso, you are exempt from emmission testing.  If you go to the testing

center with your car and registration, they will give you an exempt sticker

which is good untill 2001, for free.  

I saw one of the stickers tonight on a friends 68' Mustang.  Next year, 73'

cars will be exempt, etc., etc...



This is exactly what the guys in CA are lobbying for.  We should consider

ourselves lucky.
