I've wanted a Pantera ever since I saw one in the back lot of the "Auto 

Toy Store" in Fort Lauderdale (1991 I think).  A guy had traded it in on 

a red Ferrari.  Black on black, big flares, delta wing, immaculate 

engine compartment (smelled new, looked like a drag car, the size of 

those rear wheel tubs!) and shook the earth when the guy fired it up.  

Asking price was $35K, told mucho $ invested.  I think that car would 

add much to the quality of life, do the heart good to own and drive 

something that sounds like that!



Lift weights, build your body like you would your engine.

BTW, just read Illustrated De Tomaso buyer's guide / Rob de la Rive Box, 

Matthew L. Stone and now know that there is no such thing as a Pantera 

GTS 5 (email name I set up for this mailing list, too much volume to
