Craig, Thanks for the piston info. If the dish is small, then I presume the quench characteristics would not be all that different from a flat top. In any case, I'm leaning towards leaving the stock engine alone and building a spare with flat tops and Aussie heads. If I were rational about this, I'd just jump to the stroker right away. But I've got all these parts. It'd be a crime against nature to leave them unassembled. I wonder how a 351C would fit in my Triumph TR7?
