Well Andy, The only thing that I can say to that is if you are putting a softer spring up front, the ride should be better for the street. The other item is, since the front end is pushing, it is actually going SLOWER than the rear end as it gives up traction. The reason I would say to put softer springs in front, is you don't want to slow up the rear end to match the front, wouldn't you rather speed up the front end to match the rear? The only limiting factor, to how soft you can go is your suspension travel. You don't want to bottom your suspension or shocks out. Well, and the other would be the stopwatch at the track! It's not uncommon for racers to make a 10# change in springs on just one corner, or change the rate of the swaybar by about 20#. That would be a day to day change, just due to the weather! The cost of the springs is about $45.00 or $50.00 each. You can use the smaller 2.5" springs...You don't need to use the 4" dia springs. I think that Jerry Sackett (from PI) can get those springs for you. ==============================================================================
