The first year of the Cleveland in the Ford Falcon GTHO was a disastrous

year for Ford Australia.  Not only did they lose most of the races on

the calendar, they rarely finished - the engines coming home in baskets.

It was not until the second year of the Cleveland that Ford got it together

and built one of the winningest motors on the Mount.  During that first year,

the private teams with the Windsor block 351s were all that were waving

the Ford flag (against GM's 186 cubic inch straight-6 "Torana XUI").
