I just pull the two bolts that hold passenger seat upright, lean it forward & voila, complete access.  Not sure if all seats work so easily (mine are stock '72 vintage).

I've been dinking around with my car over the last 2 days getting it ready

for a drive from South Dakota to New York and back (between 4-5000 miles in

a week and change), so replacing the usual belts, hoses, thermostat (runs

much cooler now), etc. Do other people have to take a seat out to get the

rear bulkhead out? Do my seats just not go far enough forward? I can't

manouver that thing out unless I pull one seat...
