Charlie, I had this problem when I replaced my clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. I had a difficult time bleeding the system of all the air. The only really good way to do it is to use a Vacuum pump at the slave cylinder and pull all the fluid through the system. I then went back and pumped the clutch and bled it some more. I di this for about 1/2 hour and pulled all my old fluid out of the lines. When I was done my clutch worked great and has stayed "air free" since. Hope this helps! Jim Demick
