Right now we've got five people tentatively commited to the next Silver 

State race in Nevada. That's an incredible feat when for the last ten 

years we've averaged 1-2 cars per race! 



I spoke to the race director and if we can get 5 more Pantera's (a 

total of 10) we will be the featured marque and will receive a group 

discount off the entry fee's and a group participation award as well. If 

that happens it will be a first for the De Tomaso Pantera! I really think 

we can pull it off if some of you guys will reconsider ruunning in the 

May race.



I also have spoken to Jerry Penacoli of Hard Copy again and he 

is interested in running a piece assuming we can get ten cars "anywhere" 

in the 95-180+ divisions. So come on all you dedicated motorheads we need 

your participation and support. 

  

For all of you who have voiced some interest in this event in the past or 

asked me about the competition but have hesitated to participate due to 

the high speeds reconsider the opportunity to run down the mountain at 

95-180+ mph.
