I think I'll use the Aussie heads and Weiand X-celerator single plane intake, though I do have a set of quench 4V's. That reminds me, Kip at the PPC was showing me the GTS, Borla, and Mindtrain exhaust parts and I mentioned Larry Stock's Hedman headers. He was of the opinion that the 1 3/4" primaries would not match the 4V's exhaust port properly. Maybe one of you Nor Cal types can run up to Larry's and lay a header gasket across the flange and see how they mate? For the 4V heads, Kip prefers the GTS headers, though his guess is the Hedman units would work well on the Aussie 2V ports. > I used B\B Chev rockers on my original Pantera, because, at the time, > Cleveland roller rockers were about $350\set and B\B Chev rockers > were $200 a set. My catalogs show 1.7 for the Chubby. > Or, find yourself a set of early GT heads...They are already set-up > for adjustable rockers, and they have a 11:1 quench combustion > chamber. That would be the Boss 351 heads. Any one out there running a mechanical cam in their Pantera? Is it a royal b*tch to adjust the valves? Later, Dan Jones
