To all, I got out my receipt for my Dayton headlamp motor I bought in 1993 for my Pantera. I purchased it at W.W. Grainger for $20.64. It was shown as a "Dayton 12V DC Perm Mag Motor". The model number of the motor was "2M197". The motor, as I said, is larger than the stock unit but fits in the stock mounting postion with a minor amount of "convincing" to the surrounding sheetmetal. You will also need to purchase a 1/4" shaft extension for the motor since it is shorter than the stock motor. Graingers number for this item is "4X236". The cost was $1.43. This setup has been on my car since 1993 and has never failed to raise or lower the headlamps. I do not believe this motor will work for the door window motor, due to it's physical size. But I have never tried it. Just ask if you need more info! Jim Demick
