This is my first posting to the List.  I attended a PCNC meeting last

week as a 'guest' just to check it out as I have never been associated

with any auto club before.  I really wasn't sure what to expect.  My

knowledge is very limited about Panteras so I wasn't sure how I would be

received by the group.  Would they laugh at me?  What I found was group

of non-pretentious friendly people.....they even invited me to a Tech

session at Pam and Roger's house last Saturday.  So when Saturday rolled

around, I headed down there.  At first I wasn't sure if I should fire

away with all of my of my stupid questions but, heck, I guess that's the

only way I'm going to learn.  Dave was the initial victim of my barrage

of questions.  It was obvious to me that his knowledge was light years

ahead of mine but never once did he make me feel stupid.  Then as I hit

up other members of the club with various questions, it was obvious that

everyone was there not only to help but also to have a good ole time.

It was a great day.  I went home with a ton of knowledge and met a lot

of great people.  Thanks to all of you who made my introduction into the

Pantera world a great experience.  I will be joining the PCNC by next

meeting.
