That's OK- wheel designs are a personal matter. What I don't like about the Campy (or Cromodoras or any of the other cast-mag wheels) is the difficulty in weld-repairing, due to the massive heat expansion ratio of mag, the constant age-hardening & brittleness that cast mag undergoes, and the fact that to anneal them in Mom's oven, the paint discolors requiring a re-paint. They are a couple o' pounds lighter than an equivalent aluminum wheel, though. I like the design, but they could've gone further with the rectangular air extractors like the Lambo Miura wheels.J DeRyke
