I have never understood why a "national club" was married to Las Vegas. It seems to me that we ought to have our annual convention hosted by local clubs in regions on a rotational basis. This would give everyone the opportunity to meet more of your Pantera brethren and participate on a larger number of tracks. Why not get behind two major track events, one on the West Coast and one on the East Coast. As Captain Mike says, the Pocono event already exists. Ed, you will love the straight on the Pocono track... and the Group 4 that PONE runs. This is a great track for the Pantera's and "ain't got no respect" Shane could have a world of fun passing some of those big buck Ferrari's. They even have a few "P" cars and a GT-40 run in the competitive class. Don't get too close to these Ed - hell of a draft at speed. Actually, they are very restrictive as to the cars that they allow on the track. This is strictly Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Maserati's and Pantera's. The only exception is a GT-40. Technically we are guests but they have continued to welcome our involvement. If the Vegas thing does not come to pass the club should consider having the convention coincide with this event. The track events are already in place. All of the West Coasters that have come out here loved it... and keep coming back. Mad Dog, since I am not currently a member of POCA why don't you really get on the POCA candidates to state their views on this... You are our most vocal member of this list... Whoa, is that an understatement or what! PS. How much are the current dues for POCA and where do I send the money. I think it is time to reenlist. Forest
