I thought the most hilarious "GT comparison" ever done was that run in Car &

Drivers a few years back. It was a street- track-road-test between whatever

Ferrari coupe was current and a Lamborghini Diablo. As I remember it, both

cars (brand-new-right-off-the-boat) broke big-time more than once in a 100

mile test, and the dealerships that provided the two cars also provided

riding mechanics who were unable to keep the things running! Compare that to

Don Peak's 250,000 miles on his Pantera and you're right, there IS no

comparison for people outside Bill Gates paycheck league. J DeRyke
