The tubing MUST be tested with (none silicon) brake fluid. Otherwise it will leak sooner or later. I had BIG problems on my -71 pushbutton. It had the reservoirs bolted to the left of the master cylinder. I finally found the right sort of tubing. VW Beatle uses them and they also exists on big SCANIA trucks. But I could never tighten them up at the reservoir house so (one of them!) continued to leak. The reservoir was of plastic and very fragile so I was afraid of breaking it. Another problem is that sometimes the tubes does a tight 180 degree bend and that could be enough to "collapse" the tubing internally (the small rubber baloons blister) and make it leak though it looks OK on the outside. Finally I got tired. I switched to Wilwood master cylinder and got a much firmer pedal.
