Business trip into Virginia. Took radar detector down but left it plugged

in and on (as a safety). Got some hits

from a cop going opposite direction...no big deal. 3-4 minutes later I

notice a large American sedan pass a car

about a mile behind me. Anal retentive me...I unplug my detector and slide

it under the seat. Turns out to be a

Highway Patrol. By the way, Florida plates. He follows me...pulls up along

side (double yellow line) and

"scans" my car with a small black box (about the 3x5) with a little window

and a cord running to his dash! He

really "worked" my car over! Pulled in front of me, turned into the next

road, U-turned and watched me go

by. WHEW!
