I agree. I didn't say that the Pantera wasn't cooler than a Miata.= I = only said that there are not 50 Pantera's in the United States that= = could beat me and my Miata on the race track. I still stand by tha= t = statement! My point is unless you're a trained track driver, I = doesn't matter if you produce 600hp in your Pantera, I'll still thu= mp = you. So stop the posts "Pantera's are sooo high performance". = Pantera's are not high performance. Drivers are high performance. = If = you are a high performance driver, then you have a high performance= = car (Pantera, Mustang, Miata). If you're a low performance driver,= = then you have a low performance car (Pantera, Mustang, Miata). Wha= t = are you? = Ed ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________= ________ Subject: Re: Pantera vs. Miata Author: Non-HP-maddoxbr (maddoxbr@mail.jps.net) at HP-Sonoma,mimegw1 Date: 11/2/97 6:34 PM Hey, Don't let it worry you. = There may be some instances where a hopped up Miata can beat a Pantera. = = I know a stock MR-2 can beat a Pantera in a slalom (it doesn=C6t have as= = much to push around the turns). Remember that a Miata is just that; a = Miata. No heritage, no history, no real style. It's a nice car, but = that is all it is, nice.
