What is the 'correct'  (stock motor) setting for the timing ?





Exp:  initial is 5-10 degrees BTDC, with the mechanical kicking in

at 2000 RPM, with 18 degrees of 'advance' by 2800 RPM.





Ad how is it best checked ?



Exp: with the firewall out, mark the 0 degree notch with chalk, and 

using a timing light pointed down through the Alt bracket...blah blah

blah...





Sorry for all the "newbie" stuff, but I can't get info fast enough...to

make

up for all the years I've suffered without my Pantera !
