Noticed the same thing a couple of times on my car. In my case the smoke

comes from the outside of the engine as the smoke trail rises up through the

decklid opening and not through the exhaust.

I have no other explaination than that the valve cover breathers leak a

little and as oil gathers around the valve cover edge it finally drops on the

exhaust manifold and causes a puff of smoke.

The shaking  of the engine during starting probably makes the oil drip off

now and then.

This kind of leak has no direct effect on the oil pressure as 1/ it's way too

small 2/ it's not in the pressurized oil system.
