Kirby: I cannot believe you live in Houston and refer to a race within our great state as a "midwestern event". This is either "Texas" or the Southwest. Even the children in my wife's class say that the country can be divided into: Northeast Southeast Midwest SouthWest Northwest Central US West Coast and Texas!!! Just kidding! However, maybe your group would like to work something out with the Shelby Cobra Assocation of Texas (SCAT) for the event to be held at TMS in early October. They are looking at all kinds of expense sharing arrangements for the event on the new (suppose to be finished soon) road course there. Interested?
