David? Are you? How about hotels? I've looked into that, too. There's quite a few folks around that have responded to me and thought TWS was a good idea and they'll be there whenever I firm up the date... I'll follow through if I get enough folks who say they'll come. Even if it's just an event in conjunction with the TWS Motorsports club. But what I'd like to see is a shitload of Panteras show up and we all have fun. I've never seen more than two at TWS at one time... Eight at Aspen on that dinky course... Sooo..... Let me know how many you've got organized for Road America and whether you're going or not. I'd like to attend if I know there's going to be several Panteras there. Of course, I could drive a little bit farther and go to Pocono... And attend 'Vegas, too! Or, I could retire early and start attending events worldwide! Does anyone get the impression yet that I'm slightly annoyed? What's wrong with both? Doggone it, go to the one you want! >From Houston to Lake Elkhart is 1340 miles. That's a good 24 hour drive. Near enough the same as Pocono. And John Taphorn (the mysterious yellow Pantera from Texas) is always hounding me to go with him to Pocono next time... Even said he'll go to Silver State if I go to Pocono... Bribery! That's what it is! :-) There's folks in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Arkansas, .... that could easily drive the 2 hours, 4 hours, etc. to attend TWS. Heck, my brother said he'd bring down his new Cobra Mustang from Des Moines if I gave him enough notice. Point taken... I'm getting touchy this late at night - even after that excellent Glen Fiddich.... How many folks would like a real _TEXAS_ event! :-))))))))))))))))) You're right, Mr. Drew... Gotta' love it! G'night y'all. Kirby Tonight's quote paraphrased from Yoda: There is no try. Just do.
