Mike Drew, are you game to write the article ????? We tried to do that (in miniature) on this list a while back, and it became evident pretty quickly that a spade is not necessarily a spade in the insurance industry. Especially with disparate geographical locations. People had varying degrees of success with the same comany (example: State Farm agreed to cover me even thought the Pantera is "black listed" while others couldn't get to first base with State Farm). It is my belief that the agent is a very important part of the equation, as Lashdeep recently discovered when he called my State Farm agent and got a much better quote on his F car than with his State Farm agent. I count myself lucky that I have a hip agent... It sure would be nice to have a comparison shopping list... if t'were possible. Just being able to compare the features of the various companies' policies would be helpful, even if the actual cost would have to be determined on a case by case basis. -Andy 72 Pantera - Rocky 91 Miata - Steve (bionic) 96 A4Q - Rudolf 80 928 - Phantom 97 Miata - Nadia 84 RZ350 - Sting
