Mike Drew, are you game to write the article ????? > >Karen >PSHBTTN > Karen, Just FYI, the folks at J.C. Taylor are basically a bunch of crooks, if a friend's experience with them is any judge. They're like that old Monty Python sketch about the 'never pay' policy. His car was hit enroute to a PCNC meeting (thereby fulfilling the criteria) and yet J.C. Taylor basically only offered a token settlement, less than 30% of the cost to actually repair the damage (like you, he had used his extensive restoration receipt from Wilkinson to establish vehicle value.) Arbitration has been ongoing since 1994; recently ex-employees of the company more or less admitted to committing fraud, and a damages settlement is expected to be, uh, large. I believe criminal charges may be filed as well. Maybe this is an isolated incident, but it seems that with all the options on the market, J.C. Taylor is the LAST place you should be insuring your pride and joy. Phone me at (707) 452-9284 if you want more particulars on this case. All hearsay, so lawyers please leave me alone.
