All, What Mike relayed is very good indeed....Just a couple of points... One) A sway bar can and is used in a solid rear axle, on just about everything. Two) The skid pad that we use has speed bumps on the inside, so you can't "cheat" the corner...Its way too easy to just clip off the corner. We use a constant RPM, usually around 5000 rpm. That way the car is stable, and you're not transferring weight from corner to corner. I don't remember the "G's", but I think our times were about 10.19, or so. Three) Probably the reason you guys saw more "G's" going right than left was because there was "wedge" jacked into the chassis. Wedge is your cross corner weights...Right rear to left front and left rear to right front. Ideally you'd want 50% wedge, or really no weight differential between the two. But a rough guess is that you probably had about 53% RR to LF and 47% LR to RF. A car always turns better, in one direction only, if there is load on the chassis. That way there is no slop in any of the suspension components. If you have access to any scales, your corner weights should be checked anytime you do any suspension mods....That includes shocks, springs and swaybars. Regards.................Gary
