I would think that the stock (hi-perf) baffled pans would be fine as long as you were running an extra quart of oil..... Jack mentioned this the other day, that these have the horizontal portion that surrounds the pickup, as well as the scraper portion down the side of the pan to keep oil off the crank..... these definitely were not your stock Cleveland pans.... Steve >>>Steve, While I know Boss 302 pans were baffled, I was under the impression they were more drag-race pans (i.e. baffled to counter the effects of acceleration, but not braking or cornering.) Also, does a Boss 302 pan fit a Cleveland? I would say NO! Now, there was a Boss 351 (1971 only), but I'm under the impression that these oil pans were only slightly modified stock pans. I've seen plenty of stock Pantera pans and they were completely open, no baffles. The question is, were these the only kind that came on Panteras? Did some cars get the high-zoot pans? I'd be inclined to not take chances, myself! Mike ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
