To All, I called DeMuelle Ins. about Hagerty insurance. They said Hagerty is just another middleman between the real underwriter of the insurance which is Greenwich Insurance. I have Greenwich Insurance on both my Pantera and the Tiger. It doesn't matter what Hagerty says how much you can drive your car and when you can drive it. What matters is the fine print on your Greenwich Policy. My policy says 2500 mile limit per year. I am asked every year what my mileage is on my cars. The policy also says no driving to work or to the market or whatever. The only time you can drive the car is to club events, parades and weekend pleasure driving. In a court of law, this is what only matters. But, the rates are great. I have an agreed value of $25,000 on the Pantera and an agreed value on the Tiger of $18,000. My yearly rate for both cars is $460/year. Also, Greenwich will insure modified cars with horsepower enhancements. This is what I have. They allow headers, high rise manifolds and I think such things as turbo's and blowers. I have always worried with other insurance companys as to what they would do if I killed someone in a accident and they inspected my car and saw Wilwood brakes, aluminum heads and a high rise manifold. Would they just say "Sorry Mr. Foster, we cannot defend you in your law suit because this is not the kind of car we thought you were insuring with us".
