Jeeze, even I pulled 13.81 at my first drag race with a weinie motor and BFG Euro T/As. Also at the last SDP shootout at the Carlsbad Raceway last October, Alan Foster pulled 12.75 (with slicks) and Cary Foster pulled 12.95 (on BFG Euro T/As). No nitrous on any of the SDP cars. Alan Foster gave me a really good tip. Run the car to 2500 RPM waiting for the Xmas tree then feed it revs as the clutch bites. I never got any wheel spin, and it never bogged. It may be harder with a meatier motor, but for me it was as easy as pie! If 13.5 is the best that PCNC can do, I'll bring along my Triumph! Hehehehe, throwing down the gautlnet should get a little North-South Calif. competitiveness going. Shane Ingate in San Diego
