Shane, You know them QuickTime movies against the Ferrari? I still had a hydraulic cam at the time, 345/35 P7's.... Technique for the 13.64 I ran was; clean the tires real good in the water they had as you came up to the line, stage, and then as soon as the yellows started coming down, run it up to 5,000 rpm and when that last yellow lit, dump the clutch. Worked everytime against that twinturbo 308 as the movies can attest.... :-)))))) I really should find out what the solid lifter cam does to my 1/4 mile times someday.... The 12 seconds and under are the cars that really impress me! Especially when they're still easily street driveable. FWIW, Kirby At 11:49 -0600 7/1/98, Shane F.
