Ran over something and had an all of a sudden flat on the back. I did not have the inflation can or even the compressor. I was carrying an old fashoined hand pump. After about a half hour of pumping, it was inflated enough to drive on. It was on the back and seemed to run OK. It made the 15 mile trip home all right. The collapsable spare is OK for short run, bit I would not want to use it for any extended period of time or distance or speed. I kept the car under 45 and no hard cornering. The do work but with the inflated size, they would be a hard fit on the front. Dave D
