The B&A intakes were for 2V heads on 302 or 351W blocks, not a 351C. Plenty

of 4V intakes available to fit the 2V heads (see my previous post).  In

fact, you sold me one (a Holley Street Dominator) in that mess of 351C

parts that I loaded up in the Mustang before I left California.



Also, wasn't the '71 Boss 351 fitted with pop-up pistons?

  For a while, B&A (?) was selling a 4 barrel intake to fit 2 barrel heads.

 This would be the hot ticket for Aussie heads!  Not sure if Edelbrock

makes a similar setup..... may want to browse their website......  These

intakes can still be found at the swap meets but you gotta grab 'em fast!



Worst case? Run your fourbarrel intake and forget about the massive port

mismatch... until you find the proper aluminum version!



  Pop-ups in 71???  I don't believe that Ford ever used anything but flattops

with the quench heads.... at least I haven't seen 'em yet! Not much room

at all for a dome....
