There's gotta be some external I.D. number that would tell you; Steve Liebenow will probably know. On the heads, look for the 'hook' in the casting as the bottom corner of the heads to positively I.D. the heads as Aussie (see the photographs in the Dec POCA newsletter to see what I mean.) Otherwise, these ARE Cleveland heads, thus valve covers, etc. are interchangeable. I presume gaskets are the same too (2V Aussie and U.S.) I never knew there were open-chamber versions of the Aussie 2v head until now. Velly intelesting. If you've got a 4V intake on there, things are screwed up. Hie thee on down to your neighborhood purveyor of speed parts and have him hook you up with an aluminum 2V intake pronto! :>) Aren't the Edelbrock carbs simply the old Carter carbs produced under a new name? I seem to recall people on this list swearing by them, saying they work better and are easier to tune and KEEP in tune than Holleys. True? Mike
