All I remember re high compression is, a set of pop-ups in a closed-chamber

351C gave an automatic 12:1 c.r, which even on Sunoco Blue 104+ was too much.

(For the younger guys, once upon a time, gasoline was sold in the U.S that

exceeded 100 octane right outa the pump. For 67-72 cents per gallon).
