I think the ideal is to create a few of these "ground stars" at

different locations.  The key would be to tie them all together (not

relying on chassis ground).  The only problem that could be introduced

would be "ground loops" but I doubt that would cause much problem as

long as everything is grounded by wire and not chassis.
