As was pointed out by Mike Drew, both organizations, POCA and PI are good folks to know. I have met Dave Adler and talked with him at length about Panteras and other business. The PI option gives you more access and maybe some preferential treatment at PI Motorsports, run by Dave and Linda Adler. You get their quarterly publication, very nice, covers a lot of cars and events, lists cars for sale, etc. PI has a web site, maintained on an irregular basis, but worth checking every so often for new stuff. The contacts Dave Adler has and the motorsport shop they run can probably find you a good car in a heartbeat. Join PI Now then. POCA has been around a long time. Kent and Sandy Synder run an event in Las Vegas once a year that brings together people from all over the world. There are literally hundreds of people in attendance. There is this email forum for Panteras, made up of a lot people already belonging to POCA. There is a monthly newsletter that comes out courtesy of Jack DeRyke that includes good tech information, upcoming and past events, advertising and a classifieds section containing many good cars for sale. POCA also publishes a quarterly that Mike Drew puts together and has bigger articles on events, specific cars, restorations etc. It's a color pub and is really great to have on the coffee table, I have several. Best of all, there are a lot of folks who own and who KNOW people who own Panteras. I've seen more "For Sale" emails come directly to me from people on this list that are members of POCA, than from any other source, including Hemmings, Internet searches etc. These people are in the know. Join POCA. Let's summarize: Join PI, Join POCA. That's what I have done, and although I have not personally purchased my Pantera yet, I can tell you it is better to be part of both. In fact, you will probably find most people on this list are members of BOTH. The benefits simply multiply. Asa Jay PS, any rivalry between the two has long since been buried, and now only exists in fun and humorous exchanges, after all, there area lot of people in both.
