If you are thinking that Pantera International (PI) and Pantera Owners Club of America (POCA) are "competing" organizations, they are not. Both provide excellent services to Pantera enthusiasts around the world. However, POCA does support "local chapters" in the US, which are closer to what a club really feels like. Your nearest POCA chapter is Pantera Club of Nth. Calif (PCNC), and IMHO, are a really grand crew, as they have extended genuine warmth and friendship everytime either I or another of my fellow San Diego Pantera (SDP) fellows has had the chance to meet. I'd suggest that you join SDP, but that is a little far to commute. By joining PCNC, you will have to deal with Mike Drew's (and others) enthusiasm, but take a few hits on "Jolt" and double-expresso beforehand and you should survive :) Shane Ingate in San Diego
