There have been a couple of neat articles on radiators in the usual magazines

(the latest issue of Circle Track has one).  The articles all say you get a

'significant' amount of cooling from air blowing over the block, even air that

just exited the radiator in the case of frt-engined cars. My guess is, a full

(or even a rear-half) pan & filled-in rear deck will cause higher hi-speed

engine temps. How much higher? Dunno- but if you try it, let the List know! J
