de-mann, don't get me wrong, dougie (god, you have a great name!), i'm not wery pc myself. and as far as japanese stuff goes, i think they're near the bottom of the pile as far as 'soul' is concerned. just like most american stuff. as an american, i don't enjoy saying this, but it's how i see it. has nothing to do w/being pc or anything. i yust think the european stuff has more soul, charisma, etc. put any 300hp engine in a pantera and it's an awe-inspiring thing. put a 300hp 351 cleveland in any america vehicle, and it's... well... an american car or truck w/a big engine. so, yoke about the jap stuff all you want, it's yust ironic that most american stuff is a lot worse. dug seed in pantera lover even tho the engine is not italian! ps. good luck w/your gm-powered pantera - any 1000+hp engine is ok by me! -----Original Message----- From: Doug Mann [SMTP:dmann@dconn.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 03, 1998 12:30 AM To: Sedon, Doug Subject: Re: why jump on the japanese?
