Well, here is the latest  update.  Right now I am traveling for work for a
whole week so I cant work on the car but this is what the current status is.

All suspension and underfender areas are painted.  Front suspension is
installed.  Rear suspension awaits painting of engine bay before
installation.  Engine bay is currently stripped down and all extra holes
welded up.  Next step is add filler and paint.  Internal engine parts are
being balanced.  Wheels and tires are ordered.  

Here is a time line of what is to be done.

March 26 to April 1, work trip (SOB!)
April 2, Add filler to areas of engine bay
April 3, Finnish up filler and apply primer to engine bay and frame
April 4, Take trans to Collectors choice and have ring gear bolts changed,
         Paint frame and engine bay
April 5, Sand and buff engine bay,  Assemble suspension, gas tank, etc.
April 6, Ask for day off in lue of missing weekend, Further assembly of car.
April 7, Fabricate mounts for rad fans and make SS cooling lines
April 8, Assemble engine
April 9, Assemble engine
April 10, Install engine
April 11, Test fire engine, drive car for at least 2 hours
April 12, Start fabrication on intake.
April 13, travel for work
April 14, Travel for work
April 15, Fabricate intake
April 16, Fabricate intake
April 17, install new intake.
April 18, Paint bumpers, wing, etc,  Get 4 wheel alingnment
April 19, Install cruse, speakers, and other play stuff.
April 20, Clean car
April 21, leave for Vegas
April 22, Drive
April 23, get drunk in hospitality suite
April 24, Kick some Miata butt
April 25, have some more booze
April 26, go home

At least this is what I hope will happen.
