No knowledge. >>>The most important thing to know is that 25-year old hoses won't cut it. The molecules in R-134 are much smaller than R-12, and will leak straight through old hoses. New 'barrier' hoses will work for either type. Again, when R-134 was new, all the trogs (including me) were being told and believed that you had to change the entire system from top to bottom or nothing would work; however now it appears that all you need to change is the hoses, and install a rotary compressor. Old seals won't cut it, but if you've got new components ready to install, you're basically there already. Talk to the vendors and see what they have to say.
